This yoga mat bag is great! It is big enough to fit my mat, a towel, and a bottle of water. It has a small pocket on the outside for my keys or ID. I also particularly like the cotton the bag is made out of. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I didn't want something that would be smelly, or have some overwhelming design or color combination. This, being organic cotton, does not smell. And I can get it in black - which may seem drab, but like I said I wanted something 'low profile'. If I want part of my appearance to catch an eye, I would prefer it to be my hair, my 4" heels, or some part of my anatomy - not my yoga mat bag. I was wonderfully surprised by this bag. I put it over my shoulder, with the mat inside, and it was soooo comfortable! It is also very easy to get the mat inside, and I don't worry about the zipper scraping the mat. Do be advised, this is a large bag. My Aurorae Northern Lights mat fits with space around it. I have no problem with the loose bag, but if you do, get a smaller bag. I'm guessing it would be perfect for anyone with a very thick mat, or two mats. Or me, who just likes how it looks this way - comfortable and casual. :)

I looked everywhere for an extra large yoga mat bag and finally found this one at Amazon. The quality is superior; it is very sturdy and well made. I can fit my extra long yoga mat, a mat strap, a yoga block and most anything else I need for class in this bag with room to spare. I couldn't be happier!

I ordered this bag based on your description of EXTRA LARGE. It turns out to be small and barely fits my mats and other stuff. If I do indeed jam the mats in, it is a nightmare to get out....doesn't lend itself to the relaxing nature of yoga!

I've had this bag for a few months now and take it to yoga class a few times per week. I like the simplicity of the design and the durability of the construction. I looked at a lot of yoga mat bags here before settling on this one and I think I made the right choice.
