Good Choice Mar 06, 2010 I'm very pleased with these weighted balls. Each 2 lb. ball is soft & pliable and prefilled. They rest comfortably in my hand with no clenching needed as with regular hand weights. Besides being one of the least expensive, they've been a great way to add the extra oomph! needed in my exercise routines. They were a good choice for me, and I'd recommend them to anyone wanting to add a little something to their workouts.
One ball was defective Dec 20, 2009 Like a previous reviewer, I received one ball which was soft and flexible but the other ball was hard and firm which made the pair unusable. This was unfortunate because I really wanted the set. I am returning the product.

Awesome product at 4 pound level. Oct 28, 2009 I love these weighted fitness balls! I bought the set that included 2 each of the 2 pound, 4 pound and 6 pound sizes. They require no set up whatsoever. That comes in handy because I can just grab them when I'm tooling around the house and I get the blood flowing a little.
Because they are low weight I use them mostly to work small support muscles in the shoulder, rotator cuff, wrist, etc. I also love using them in agility drills where you pick them up and travel them from station to station, over and over again. Shadow boxing and just tossing them in the air are also a lot fun.
The diameter of these balls is about the size of a grapefruit. That means you are using a wider grip than a barbell or dumbbell. I feel like this is a more natural grip and it means you get a secondary workout on those wrist and forearm muscles with every other workout you do. I don't have very big hands and I have no trouble maintaining my grip. That said, the six pound size is stuffed with its ballast so its harder and feels more like a bowling ball. The two pound has very little ballast inside so it is very squishy. Just like Goldilocks and her porridge the 4 pound is just right! I also find that the two pound weight to be too light to do anything with. If I was rehabbing an injury I might need them but in retrospect I'd have just bought the 4 pound.
Conclusion: buy the pair of 4 pound balls. They are the right weight, the right density and you'll find them always in your hands. You'll be toned up in no time!
One good, one not so good Sep 12, 2009 I bought this because it came as a set of two balls. One was great but the other was filled too tight, making the ball hard and virtually useless.
Natural Fitness Pair Soft Weighted Balls Pair, 2-Pounds Each (Moss) Sep 12, 2009 I really enjoy working out with these weights. My only criticism is I wish they were a bit smaller, but that is probably because I have small hands. They really increase the intensity of my workout.
