I love this mat. Pads the knees and pelvic bone and elbows very well. I use the mat for workouts and yoga. I was using a thin yoga mat prior to this one and my knees would get sore. My pelvic bone and elbows would also get very sore. The elbows and pelvic bone would get sore especially when doing ab holds, neutral spine, and cobra pose. Im happy with it. The company also doesnt use environmentally harmful materials, and they plant a tree when you buy it. Not to mention a great price. Win. Win.

This mat is great for my body type. I am slim and the thickness of the mat cushions my bones during Pilates. However, the mat tears easliy when pressure is applied from the different poses and stretches that require you to put weight on your feet and push outward (i.e: split stretches).

Excellent mat that has a nice cushion. It is extra long which is nice for my height (5'7"). I love using this for pilates and yoga, and have not noticed any spots of wearing down or tears like others have noted. I would definitely recommend.

I'm not a hardcore yoga person so I can't verify if this mat holds up in classes, but I have used it for daily stretching and yoga-like videos and am satisfied with it. It's thick and comfortable and also quite long, which is nice. The only thing I took off a star for was the fact that the mat "molds" very easily. If you walk over it, your foot imprint will stay on for quite some time. Not a huge deal but not very attractive to see deep foot imprints all over.

I'm using this mat to do yoga at home, and my tile floor has a rustic not-so-smooth type of surface. This mat is thicker and ideal for such a floor. For the [...] bucks that I spent I've got no regrets. When this one gets too beat up for yoga it's going to make a great camping pad!
