I bought this mat 2.5 months ago and its already falling apart. I am covered in little mat flecks by the end of my yoga class. I went with this mat since it is cheaper than most but still environmentally friendly. I tried to hedge my investment since I am a beginner and wasn't sure I was going to 'stick' with a yoga practice.
I do love the colors, but I won't be buying anything else from this company. Save yourself the headache and invest more in your mat!

as a yoga teacher, I bring my mat to many places; the light weight quality of the mat is great for travel. unlike some other eco-mats, this doesn't smell like burnt rubber. If you have knee or back issues though, you may want something a little thicker. Color is as bright as shown, so if you like bright colors, go for it.

Good mat, really nice and durable and didn't have that rubber stench that new stuff usually has which was nice since I used immediately after opening the box.

I received this mat as a gift at Christmas. It is mid February now and I use this mat every day for my personal practice. I am a yoga teacher and have used other natural rubber mats. This mat is falling apart. I get little greenJade Harmony Professional 3/16-Inch Yoga Mat flecks all over my clothes and the floor after practicing. The grip is also not great- I tend to slide while in downward facing dog. JadeYoga natural mats are a much wiser investment - I have used a Jade mat for 2 years and it is still in great shape.

I purchased this mat because it was green-friendly. However, I would advise you to rethink this product. The mat does not lay flat- not good. Also, it gets easily scratched (by finger and toenails).
The mat does offer good cushion, though not too much cushion so that it makes it more challenging for those balance poses. Will have to shell out more money for another mat now...
