Great so far! Perfect for my prematurely aged knees. Some critiques that I've read says that it wears out fast. Too soon for me to know. Not as heavy or as stinky as some. Fine service & delivery.

This yoga mat is working fine for me. I've had no problems with it. Someone mentioned that theirs wore out. It's possible that I'm fairly easy on it, but so far, so good.

This mat has helped my yoga practice. Many of the poses are much more comfortable. This is particularly true for some of the poses that put pressure on my knees,ankles,and feet. It is very "sticky" and my standing poses feel very stable. It is expensive but I would purchase it again in a heartbeat. I think it is an excellent mat for any level of yoga enthusiast. Jade Yoga's commitment to the environment was also important to me.

I bought this mat about a year ago ... I wanted a durable mat with as much padding as possible for hot vinyasa yoga. This seemed like the thickest one out there. It took a couple of months to break in, with a strong rubber odor and a little too firm. Then it was a terrific mat for 8-10 months, no odor, thick, soft and not slippery. Then it started to break down, offering less cushion, felt thinner (and rolled up thinner as if the material had compressed), and started to stretch under me and lose its grip on the floor, often sliding and stretching under me while I practice. My joints have started bothering me due to the reduced cushioning from the worn out mat. I practice about 5x/week and this mat wore out in less than a year, and it is expensive for less than a year of use.

After experimenting with several yoga mats to suit my specific needs, I finally found all my requirements met with this Jade fusion mat. The right amount of thickness cushions my knees well for the runner's stretch pose, and it's also firm enough to hold the standing poses (unlike the foam-like mats that are thick but soft which make me wobbly, making it difficult for me to maintain my balance). I also like it's length at 74" that keeps my whole body in the mat as I have long legs. I did get that "rubbery" smell when I first received it but it went away immediately after airing it out. Pricey but worth it for me. At least another tree was planted after purchasing this, which I believe is a great bonus.
